Danish soprano Sofie Lund (b. 1993) has quickly distinguished herself as one of the most compelling young voices on the Scandinavian opera scene. A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Music’s Opera Academy and the Royal College of Music in London (Artist Diploma in Opera), she is already making her mark on stages across Europe.
From 2023 to 2025, Sofie was a member of the ensemble at Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern in Germany, where she performed a diverse repertoire of leading and supporting roles.
Her recent appearances include Violetta (La Traviata), Pamina (The Magic Flute), Sophie (Werther), and Woglinde (Götterdämmerung).
A recipient of the Prix Thierry Mermod at the Verbier Festival and named Opera Talent of the Year 2024 by the Copenhagen Opera Festival, Sofie is praised for her captivating versatility, radiant musical intelligence, and magnetic stage presence.
